Somali Women Legal Advocacy Organization (SOWLA) is the nonprofit and non-governmental, organization founded in 2021 , the organization s a dynamic and dedicated women’s rights organization committed to promoting gender equality, empowering women, and advocating for the advancement of women’s rights at all levels. With a passionate team of activists, advocates, and change-makers, we strive to create a world where women and girls can thrive, free from discrimination, violence, and oppression. The organization believe that gender equality is not just a fundamental human right, but also a necessary foundation for a peaceful, prosperous, and sustainable society. Our organization works tirelessly to challenge societal norms, dismantle systemic barriers, and create an inclusive and equitable environment where women can fully realize their potential.
